Pressure Oxidation
Pressure Oxidation expertise for your refractory ores and sulfide concentrates. Pressure Oxidation can be used on numerous sulfide based whole ores, mattes, and concentrates for direct production of oxide products, mineral separation for grade enhancement, or as a pretreatment step to prepare the feed for further processing of the oxide products. It has also been used successfully as a pretreatment on some non-sulfide based ore types to enhance recoveries. The number of successful batch and continuous pressure oxidation plants that have been constructed around the world in the past two decades have increased the acceptance of this process as an environmentally and economically sound process route for treating traditionally difficult refractory ores. For this process to be a successful part of a production plant requires thorough feed stock testing, proper material selection, advanced instrumentation, a keen eye to safety and an operator friendly plant layout. Jack Irvine has been involved with the successful implementation of 10 pressure oxidation plants, from design, construction, and commissioning, to operation and training. Jack can help you with any of your pressure oxidation requirements. contact: jirvine@autoclaves4hydromet.com
